Glucagon is produced by the alpha-cells of the pancreatic islets. It occurs also in endocrine cells of the gut and in neurons in the brain.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionsImmunohistochemistry (PAP): 1:1000-1:2000; requires overnight incubation at 4ºC.
Note: Suitable for frozen and paraffin-embedded sections. No proteolytic treatment is required.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
