| Grp’s (Glucose-Regulated Proteins) are a class of proteins synthesized in cells in response to glucose starvation. Glucose-regulated protein 94 (grp94) or tumor rejection antigen (gp96) shows a high degree of sequence homology with the heat shock protein 90 (hsp90). Grp94 has been briefly studied as a prognostic factor in breast cancer. |

| Catalog # | G3057 |
| Applications | Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation (native only), Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. |
| Recommended Dilution | Immunoprecipitation: Use Protein G; 2ug/mg protein lysate |
| Western Blot | 1-2ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT. |
| Immunohistochemistry (frozen & formalin/paraffin) | 1-2ug/ml for 30 min at RT. Note: Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. |
| Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. |
| Positive control | SKBR-3 cells. Tonsil |
| Cellular Localization | Cytoplasmic and nuclear |
| Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
