Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Goat Affinity Purified E B IP IC
Catalog #G8135-36B
Glutathione S transferases (GSTs) are a family of enzymes that play an important role in detoxification by catalyzing the conjugation of many hydrophobic and electrophilic compounds with reduced glutathione. Based on their biochemical, immunological, and structural properties, the soluble human GSTs are categorized into 4 main classes alpha, mu, pi, and theta. The amino acid sequence GST is highly conserved in most organisms, including mammals.
Cellular Localization Cytoplasmic
ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
