Ly-6G, formerly known as the myeloid differentiation antigen Gr-1, is a GPI-anchored protein (1). In the bone marrow, the level of antigen expression is directly correlated with granulocyte differentiation and maturation. It is also transiently expressed on monocytes in the bone marrow (2). In the periphery, Ly-6G is expressed predominantly on neutrophils (3, 4).

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and In vitro activation of complement-dependent cytoxicity Assays. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionFlow Cytometry: 1ug/10e6 cells.
Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
