| Recombinant GM-CSF comprises a 127 amino acid fragment (18-144) corresponding to the mature GM-CSF protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. | | | Catalog # | G8950-34A | | GM-CSF is a potent species-specific growth factor produced by a variety of cell types including T cells, B cells, macrophages, mast cells and endothelial cells. GM-CSF is produced in response to cytokine or immune stimulation and has been shown to stimulate the proliferation, maturation and function of hematopoietic cells. | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. | | | | Recommended Dilution: | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
