Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) is a potent stimulator of bone marrow cells, especially those of neutrophil lineage. In addition, G-CSF can enhance the survival and activate the immunological functions of mature neutrophils.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: ≥0.5-2ug/ml by using 100ul/well detects mouse GM-CSF using G8951-10I as capture antibody Western Blot: 0.1–0.2ug/ml. Detects 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse GM-CSF, expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.4. No preservative added. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile ddH2O.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse GM-CSF.
