| Human Haptoglobin, produced from pooled human plasma, exists in three common phenotypes; Hp 1-1, Hp 2-1, Hp 2-2 with a molecular mass ranging from 8kD-200kD. It is a glycoprotein which is synthesized in the liver and circulating in the blood. Reduced levels seen in hemolysis and impaired liver function.
