ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml of this lot detected phosphorylated HSP27 (Ser15) in MCF7 cells that were heat shocked for 30 minutes at 42°C, cultured for an additional 16 hours at 37°C, and then stimulated with 200uM arsenite for 30 minutes.
Protein Phosphorylation/Immunoblot Assay Recombinant HSP27 was phosphorylated by active MAPKAP Kinase 2 in a non-radioactive protein phosphorylation reaction. The phosphorylated HSP27 was detected by Immunoblot Analysis using 0.5-4ug/ml H1830-50F.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

SpecificityRecognizes phospho-HSP27 (Ser15), Mr 27kD. Does not recognize the non-phosphorylated form of HSP27. Species Crossreactivity
