| HSP27 is identical to the estrogen-induced p29 and 24K protein. About 50% of breast carcinomas are positive for HSP27 especially those that are also positive for estrogen and/or progesterone receptor. HSP27 has also been implicated in drug resistance in cancer cells. | | | Catalog # | H1830-51X | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2 hours at RT. | | Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 minutes, followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Positive Control | BT474, MDA-MB-453 cells, and breast carcinoma. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
