Heat shock proteins, HSP’s or stress response proteins SRP’s, are synthesized in a variety of environmental and patholphysiological stressful conditions. Many HSP’s are involved in processes such as protein denaturation-renaturation, folding-unfolding, transport-translocation, activation-inactivation, and secretion. HSP70 is found to be associated with steroid receptors, actin, p53, polyoma T antigen, nucleotides, and other unknown proteins. Also, HSP70 has been shown to be involved in protective roles against thermal stress, cytotoxic drugs, and other damaging conditions.

Applications	Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin/frozen): 1:75-1:250 in an ABC all method. Incubate for 30 minutes at RT.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
