| The heat shock proteins Hsp90 alpha and beta are involved in a variety of roles, notably stress responses and myogenesis. Hsp90 belongs to the heat shock family of proteins, which exhibit complex patterns of spatial and temporal regulation during embryonic development in a wide range of organisms. Hsp90 is a molecular chaperone with ATPase activity. One study shows that Hsp90 alpha and beta act similarly with regard to co-chaperone molecules, reveals significantly different behaviors under stress conditions in substrate interactions. As an animal model for vertebrate development, zebrafish can be used to study age-associated changes in heat shock response. | | | Catalog # | H1834-56V | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
