| Perlecan is an extracellular matrix proteoglycan. It has a large core protein of 400-450kD and is often produced with heparan sulfate side chains. Perlecan is found in basement membranes where it contributes to the permeability charateristics, serves as a substrate for vascular cells and binds growth factors involved in vascular remodelling (2). | | | Catalog # | H1890-90C | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:4000 | | Immunohistochemistry (Frozen bovine, human PLP-fixed sections): 1:50 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Hybridoma | Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. | | Culture Medium | RPMI 1640 with 10% fetal calf serum. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
