Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified B
Heparanase cleaves heparan sulfate proteoglycans into heparan sulfate side chains and core proteoglycans. The 65 kDa proheparanase precursor is proteolytically processed into a linker peptide of 8 kDa and a 50 kDa product harboring the active site. The active form of Heparanase is a heterodimer of these two subunits. Heparanase is highly expressed in placenta and spleen and weakly expressed in lymph node, thymus, peripheral blood leukocytes, bone marrow, endothelial cells, fetal liver and tumor tissues.
