The Hepatitis B virus is one of the most important causative agents of acute and chronic liver disease in humans. HBcAg is a particulate antigen composed of a single polypeptide (p21). It is the replicative form of the virus, and is expressed in the infected cells.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunoprecipitation of in vitro-translated core and pre-core proteins. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
