Hepatitis B virus is a major causative agent of acute and chronic liver disease in humans. Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) is a protein component of the viral envelope, which is expressed predominantly in the cytoplasm of infected hepatocytes.

Recommended Dilutions	ELISA: 1:20-1:200
	Western Blot: 1:10-1:50

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
