Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Serum B IP
Catalog #H5110-13X
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 1:2,000-1:5,000 detected acetyl-Histone H3 (Lys9/18) in acid extracts from sodium butyrate treated Hela cells, but not unmodified recombinant Histone H3. Acid extracts from untreated, sodium butyrate treated HeLa cells and recombinant Histone H3, were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-acetyl-Histone H3 (Lys9/18) (1:5,000 dilution). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunoprecpitation An independent laboratory has shown that this antibody immunoprecipitates chromatin from wild type yeast lysate (1).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
