| The methylation of specific histone lysines controls aspects of short- and long-term transcriptional regulation, in addition to the propagation of bulk chromosome structure and stability. Methylated histone H3 K27 is also involved in transcriptional silencing of human polycomb target genes and earliest chromatin changes in the X-chromosome inactivation. Methylated histone H3 K27 is considered a mark of repressive chromatin states. | | | Catalog # | H5110-14S6 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and ELISA.
