| The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is a cluster of genes that are important in the immune response to infections. In humans, this complex is referred to as the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) region. There are 3 major MHC class I proteins encoded by the HLA which are HLA A, HLA B and HLA C. | | | The HLA A gene is part of the human HLA complex on chromosome 6 and there are a large number of variant alleles of this gene. | | | Catalog # | H6098-07F | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. | | Recommended Negative Control | I1904-84H3: IgG2b Negative Control (PE) | | Hybridoma | NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months as an undiluted liquid. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG2b | | Clone No | 3H2205 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | Not determined | | Form | Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 1% BSA, 5% sucrose, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE). Reconstitute with 1ml sterile ddH2O. | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Papain solubilized HLA Class 1 Antigen A2 (HLA-A2) | | Specificity | Recognizes the human HLA-A2 histocompatibility antigen. The epitope recognized by this antibody has been studied extensively and would appear to include the carboxy-terminus of the alpha-2 helix and a turn on one of the underlying beta strands. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
