| HLA E belongs to the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. This class I molecule is a heterodimer consisting of a heavy chain and a light chain (beta-2 microglobulin). The heavy chain is anchored in the membrane. HLA E binds a restricted subset of peptides derived from the leader peptides of other class I molecules. | | | Catalog # | H6098-10F | | Cellular Localization | Type I membrane protein. | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 8L243 | | Host | Mouse | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | In PBS with 15mM Sodium Azide. pH 7.4 | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Bacterially expressed recombinant HLA-E refolded with beta2-microglobulin and peptide. | | Specificity | The antibody recognized native surface-expressed HLA E, but not denaturated heavy chain of HLA E. The published results revealed that antibody is remarkably specific for HLA E, only with weak crossreactivity with following classical MHC Class I molecules | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
