| HLA E belongs to the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. This class I molecule is a heterodimer consisting of a heavy chain and a light chain (beta-2 microglobulin). The heavy chain is anchored in the membrane. HLA E binds a restricted subset of peptides derived from the leader peptides of other class I molecules. | | | Catalog # | H6098-10H | | Cellular Localization | Type I membrane protein. | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 8L245 | | Host | Mouse | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | In PBS with 15mM Sodium Azide. pH 7.4 | | Purity | Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Bacterially expressed recombinant HLA-E refolded with beta2-microglobulin and peptide. | | Specificity | The antibody recognized native surface-expressed HLA E, but not denaturated heavy chain of HLA E. The published results revealed that the antibody crossreacts with some classical MHC Class I molecules | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
