Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

SpecificityThe antibody recognizes virtually all nucleated human cells, it is a valuable reagent for analysing variations in HLA class I expression in different disease states e.g. liver disease, muscular dystrophy, inflammatory myopathy and other neuromuscular disorders. This antibody is also suitable as a positive control for HLA tissue typing and cross matching. Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Human, bovine, Cat and Monkey. Does not crossreact with Rabbit. Expected to crossreact with Chimpanzee (92% identity with immunogen) and Gorilla (93% identity with immunogen) due to sequence homology. Not yet tested in other species.
