Clone Host Grade Applications Monoclonal Mouse Highly Purified FC

This is a cytotoxic antibody which detects HLA-B27 alloantigen. This antibody reacts with the peripheral blood lymphocytes of 47/47 individuals conventionally typed as HLA-B27+ and precipitates cell surface molecules of 43 and 12kD, corresponding to the HLA Class 1 heavy chain and beta 2 microglobulin.

Applications	Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions	Flow Cytometry: Neat; Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells or 100ul of whole blood.

Recommended Negative Control	I1904-78R3: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (FITC)
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.

Specificity	Recognizes HLA Class 1 Antigen B27. Affinity studies by Scatchard analysis showed that HLA-B27 antibody has a higher affinity for HLA-B27 (9.7 x 10e8M-1) than for HLA B7 (9.5 x 10e7 M-1). Subjects Expected Fluorescence Intensity Heterozygous HLA-B27+ Strong Homozygous HLA-B27+ Strong Heterozygous HLA-B7+ Faint Non B27, Non B7 Negative.
