HLA G belongs to the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. It is a heterodimer consisting of a heavy chain (with a1, a2, a3 domains) and a light chain (beta 2 microglobulin). Alternate splicing provides both soluble and membrane bound forms of HLA G, with two soluble isoforms and four membrane bound isoforms. HLA G may be part of the fetal protection system and is expressed on fetal derived placental cells.

Recommended Dilution	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
