| The antibody is useful for detection of HLA-DR and HLA-DP positive B-cells, T-cells and monocytes in cell suspensions, in frozen sections as well as in formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. The antibody is also useful for characterization of leukemias and lymphomas. In experimental settings it can be used for selective removal of antigen carrying cells by complement mediated cytotoxicity.
