| 8-hydroxyguanosine (8-OG) is a modified base which occurs in DNA as a result of oxidative stress. 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) has become a sensitive marker of oxidative damage in cellular DNA and has been reported to be excreted in the urine. Levels of 8-OHdG have been shown to increase on exposure to ionizing radiation and tobacco smoke. | | | Catalog # | H9076-02 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
