| Murine IFN-gamma is a regulatory protein produced by activated NK cells and CD4+TCR alpha-beta+, CD8+TCR alpha-beta+, and TCR gamma-delta+ T cells. Biological activities of IFN-gamma include specific binding to a single class of high affinity receptors. Recombinant murine IFNg is a 15.6kD protein containing 134 amino acid residues. | | | Catalog # | I1000 | | Biological Activity | The ED50 as determined by a cytopathic effect inhibition assay with murine NIH 3T3 cells challenged with VSV virus was 0.1ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 1x10e7units/mg. For most in vitro applications, IFN-gamma exerts its biological activity in the concentration range of 0.1-10ng/ml. | | AA Sequence | MHGTVIESLE SLNNYFNSSG IDVEEKSLFL DIWRNWQKDG DMKILQSQII SFYLRLFEVL KDNQAISNNI SVIESHLITT FFSNSKAKKD AFMSIAKFEV NNPQVQRQAF NELIRVVHQL LPESSLRKRK RSRC | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
