Applications	Suitable for use in Immunoblot (Western or Dot Blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxidase Electron Microscopy and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions	ELISA: 1:10,000-1:50,000.
	Western Blot: 1:1,000-1:5,000
	Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:3,000
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity	Recognizes human IgA alpha. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-goat serum, human IgA and human serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% crossreactivity against other human heavy or light chain isotypes.
