ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lot consistency. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionELISA (Capture): 1:10,000-1:100,000. 1ug of Human IgA using S7973-97A Streptavidin (HRP) and A0030 ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

SpecificityAssay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin, anti-Rabbit Serum, Human IgA and Human Serum. No reaction was observed against Human IgG or IgM. Specificity was confirmed at less than 1% against other human heavy or light chain isotypes by ELISA.
