Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified E B IH
Catalog #I1890-05H
Label Alkaline Phosphatase (Calf Intestine) (Molecular Weight 140,000 daltons)
Application(s) suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA and immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
Recommended Dilution(s) This product has been assayed against 1ug of Human IgA in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate NPP-10 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:3,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Optimal titers for other applications should be determined by the researcher.
Storage Conditions Store vial at 4° C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE. This product is stable at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of opening product.
Clone TypePolyclonal
IsotypeIgG
HostRabbit
SourceHuman
Concentration~1mg/ml (UV280)
FormSupplied as a liquid in TBS, 1mM magnesium chloride, 0.1mM zinc chloride, pH 8.0, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and protease free), 0.01% sodium azide, 50% glycerol. Conjugated to Alkaline Phosphatase (AP).
PurityPrepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
ImmunogenHuman IgA heavy chain
SpecificityAssay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase (calf intestine), anti-Rabbit Serum, Human IgA and Human Serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% crossreactivity against other Human heavy or light chain isotypes.
