IgA is useful in the identi cation of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid in ltrates indicates that the in ltrate is clonal and therefore malignant.

Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Texas Red® conjugates are sensitive to light.

Specificity	Recognizes mouse IgA. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum, mouse IgA and mouse serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at <1% against other mouse heavy or light chain combinations.
