The most common feature of plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunohistology. Useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionsImmunohistology: (Formalin/paraffin): 1:250-1:500 for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues REQUIRES boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
