| The most common feature of plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant. | | | Catalog # | I1900-65C | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistology. Useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | Immunohistology: (Formalin/paraffin): 1:250-1:500 for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues REQUIRES boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Positive Control | Tonsil | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | Not determined. | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in 10mM PBS, pH 7.4, 0.2% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide before the addition of glycerol to 40%. | | Purity | Purified antibody fraction. | | Immunogen | IgE isolated from a pool of normal human serum. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic. MW of antigen is 50kD. | | Specificity | Recognizes human IgE. Does not crossreact with alpha (IgA), gamma (IgG), mu (IgM), or delta (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
