Suitable for use in Immunomicroscopy, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:170,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:2500 Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
Immunogen
Goat IgG whole molecule.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free), 0.01% gentamicin sulfate. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Reconstitute with 1ml sterile ddH2O.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes goat IgG. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-donkey serum, goat IgG and goat serum. No reaction was observed against chicken, equine, guinea pig, hamster, mouse, rabbit and rat serum proteins.
