| IGSF3 (Immunoglobulin superfamily member 3; also known as EWI-3) is a member of the EWI subfamily of the Ig- superfamily of molecules. It is a type I transmembrane protein that likely exists as a homodimer in kidney and lung. The mature molecule is 1195aa in length, and contains an extended 1127aa extracellular domain (ECD; aa20-1146). There are seven ECD V-type Ig-like domains, the second of which exhibits a characteristic Glu-Trp-Ile motif. There are at least two potential splice variants. One shows a truncation after Pro833; a second shows a deletion of aa408-427. Over aa20-1125, human IGSF3 shares 92% aa identity with mouse IGSF3. | | | Catalog # | I7502-95A | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.
