Influenza virus is a single-stranded RNA virus, segmented, 70nm diameter and enveloped. Strains are described by geographic origin, strain number, year of isolation and hemagglutination (H) and neuraminidase (N) antigens.

Applications	Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Conjugation. Not recommended for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Does not react with the M2 matrix protein, Influenza B, Adenovirus, Respiratory syncytial virus or Parainfluenza viruses. Does not react with HEp-2 cells by indirect immunofluorescence.
