Influenza virus is a single-stranded RNA virus, segmented,70nm diameter and enveloped. Strains are described by geographic origin, strain number, year of isolation and hemagglutination (H) and neuraminidase (N) antigens.

Applications	Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence Microscopy, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Immunohistochemistry: formalin fixed and paraffin embedded sections.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
