Influenza virus is a single-stranded RNA virus, segmented, 70nm diameter and enveloped. Strains are described by geographic origin, strain number, year of isolation and hemagglutination (H) and neuraminidase (N) antigens.

Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Hemagglutination inhibition, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions	Indirect immunofluorescence: >1:1000
	Hemagglutination inhibition: >1:2500
	Western Blot: Unboiled samples in 1mM DTT and 2% SDS
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
