Integrins are transmembrane proteins that mediate interactions between adhesion molecules on adjacent cells and/or the extracellular matrix (ECM). Integrins have diverse roles in several biological processes including cell migration during development and wound healing, cell differentiation, and apoptosis. Their activities can also regulate the metastatic and invasive potential of tumor cells.

Applications	Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions	Immunocytochemistry: 15ug/ml shows positive immunostaining for integrin a1 (human) in HeLa cells and MRC-5 cells fixed with 95% ethanol/ 5% acetic acid and permeabilized with 8% BSA.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma	Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
