Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Westen Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry and Inhibition of activated human lymphocyte binding to laminin, collagen IV and fibronectin. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
	Immunohistochemistry: 2ug/ml, with paraformaldehyde fixation.
	Western Blot: 2ug/ml
	Immunoprecipitation: 1ug/ml
	Flow Cytometry: 2ug/ml
	ELISA: 0.5ug/ml
	Inhibition: 1-5ug/ml
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity	Recognzes the L domain (Val151–Ala364) of human alpha1 integrin (CD49a). Precipitates proteins of Mr 180kD, pI 5.9-6.0 (alpha chain) and Mr 115kD, pI 4.5-5.0 (beta chain) from human lymphocyte lysates. Does not recognize rat recombinant I domain of integrin alpha1.
