Human alpha 1 integrin subunit forms the VLA-1 heterodimer in association with the beta 1 integrin. VLA-1 is a receptor for collagen and laminin, and is expressed by chronically activated T cells, melanoma cells and smooth muscle cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended DilutionFlow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
