Integrin alpha 8 is a 170-200kD member of the Integrin family of adhesion molecules. It forms an exclusive non-covalent heterodimer with Integrin B1. A8b1 promotes both cell adhesion and survival and is known to bind to fibronectin, the latency-associated peptide in latent TGF-b1, and nephronectin.

Recommended DilutionsFlow cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C. Stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Freezing Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. APC is light sensitive.
