Integrin beta 6 (ITGB6) is a 95kD member of the integrin beta family. It forms noncovalent heterodimers with Integrin alpha V and appears on epithelia following injury or inflammation. It
activates TGF-beta and assists keratinocyte migration. Human Integrin beta 6 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is 767aa in length. It contains a 688aa extracellular domain (ECD) (aa22-709) that incorporates a 241aa VWF-A domain. Over aa22-707, human Integrin beta 6 ECD shares 90% and 93% aa sequence identity with mouse and pig Integrin beta 6 ECD, respectively.

Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human Intergrin beta 6 is ~2.5ng/well.
	Western Blot: 1ug/ml. Using a colormetric detection system, the detection limit for recombinant human Intergrin beta 6 is ~20ng/lane and 50ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions, respectively.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O or PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
