| Human Integrin b7 (also Integrin bP and M290 IEL Ag) is a 120kD member of the Integrin beta chain family of molecules. It is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that contains a 704aa extracellular domain (ECD) (aa20-723) and a 52aa cytoplasmic tail. The ECD contains one von Willebrand factor A domain (aa150-389) and four cysteine-rich EGF-like repeats. One splice variant exists that shows a deletion of aa501-648. Integrin b7 forms a nondisulfide linked heterodimer with a4 and aE integrins. a4b7 binds fibronectin, VCAM-1 and MADCAM1, while aEb7 binds E-cadherin. The ECD of human b7 is 87% aa identical to the ECD of mouse b7. | | | Catalog # | I7661-45D | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot.
