ApplicationsELISA Detection: Monoclonal antibody is useful as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA for quantifying human IFN-gamma protein levels.1,2 Biotinylated antibody should be paired with purified antibody as the capture antibody, with purified recombinant human IFN-g as the standard.
Immunofluorescence/Flow Cytometry: This antibody is useful for intracytoplasmic staining and flow cytometric analysis to identify and enumerate IFN-g-positive cells within mixed cell populations. Recombinant human IFN-g, unlabeled antibody, or Rat IgG1 should be used as a specificity control.
Immunoprecipitation: Has been reported to be useful for immunoprecipitation.1
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
