ApplicationsSuitable for in vivo and in vitro Neutralization, ELISA, ELISpot, Western Blot, Intracellular Staining and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionELISA (Coating antibody): 10ug/ml. Use 100ul per well.
Immunohistochemistry: Cryostat sections

Biological Activity6000 neutralizing units/mg of protein. One unit is equivalent to the amount of antibody required to neutralize one laboratory unit of rat IFN-gamma antiviral activity, in which 6x10e6 units corresponds to 1mg of pure rat interferon-gamma.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

ImmunogenRat Interferon gamma (IFNg)
SpecificityRecognizes rat Interferon gamma. Exhibits high affinity binding for both rat and mouse natural and recombinant IFN-gamma and effectively neutralizes the antiviral activity of IFN-gamma in both species. Blocks induction of Ia antigen expression on murine keratinocytes. Suitable for in vivo studies in mice. Does not react with rodent IFN-alpha, rodent IFN-beta or human interferons.
