Possible applications include the purification of human gamma Interferon and in vitro neutralization. In general, monoclonal antibodies to gamma Interferon are able to inhibit Schwartzman reactions and in the murine system appear to protect NZB mice against spontaneous development of autoimmune disease.

Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with distilled or de-ionized water. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
