Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA) is a naturally occurring protein which inhibits the activity of IL-1 alpha and IL-1 beta by competitively blocking binding to cell surface receptors for IL-1.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionELISA (detection): 0.1-0.4ug/ml
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit for reqIL-10 is approximately 0.5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
