| Interleukin-2 is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor showing biological activity primarily on T cells. Murine IL-2 is a 17.2kD protein containing 149 amino acid residues. | | | Catalog # | I7663-26A | | Biological Activity | The ED50 as determined by the dose dependent stimulation of murine CTLL-2 cells is 2.0ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 5.0x10e6 u/mg. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile dH2O, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
