Recombinant IL-3 CSF is fused to a C-terminal His-tag (6x His) and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. | | Amino Acid Sequence | The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-Pro-Ala-Pro-Thr. | | Dimers and Aggregates | Less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. | | Biological Activity | Recombinant IL-3 Sf9 is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of TF-1 cells is < 0.1 ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1 x 107 IU/mg. | | Endotoxin | 0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug) of Recombinant Human IL-3. | | Protein Content | Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods: | | 1. This value is calculated by the PC GENE computer analysis program of protein sequences (IntelliGenetics). | | 2.
