| Human Interleukin-5 is a dimeric, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 132aa and having a molecular weight of 26.5kD. The sequence of the first five N-terminal aa was determined to be Met-Ile-Pro-Thr-Glu. Stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile deionized water to a concentration 100ug/ml. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
