Interleukin-10 (IL-10), originally known as Cytokine Synthesis Inhibitory Factor (CSIF), is an 18.7kD protein of 160 amino acid residues that shares over 80% sequence homology with the Epstein-Barr Virus protein BCRFI.

Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA and Neutralization. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
	Neutralizaton: 600pg neutralized 50% of the activity of 1pg of IL-10. Removal of sodium azide is required prior to functional assays.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma	Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c (Iffa Credo) mice were fused with cells of the X63.Ag8.653 mouse myeloma cell line.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
